A: The design of our premium handicap ramps do not require any building permits to install, and is suitable for both residential and light commercial use. The QRamp™ modular ramp does not require any concrete footings, or permanent modification to the existing structure, thus it can be easily installed and removed without any structural damage. If ever you decide to sell your home, the QRamp™ modular ramp system can be easily disassembled and reassembled at your new residence, or sold.

Q: What should my modular ramps slope be?

A: ADA ramp guidelines & most municipal codes recommended that handicap ramps slope not exceed a 1:12 ratio. This means that for every inch of rise, 12 inches of ramp is required. For instance, if you have steps leading up to your home’s entrance that are 12″ from the ground to door frame, you would require a ramp that is 12′ (144″) in length.
